Zombie Preparations and Other News

So the really exciting news is that I have the galleys back for Sins of the Lost already! Yeah, I know…that was fast. Of course, because my life tends to follow an it-never-rains-but-it-pours kind of pattern, this last crazy phase leading up to release has landed right in the middle of canning season.

My proofread is due back on my editor’s desk by Monday, September 16. My husband thinks I ought to just skip the canning this year, and so I’ve done the only sensible thing possible: I’ve made it a personal challenge to not only meet my deadline, but to also see how many pint jars I can have on my pantry shelves in that same time frame.

Because, really, me? Be unprepared for a possible zombie apocalypse?!? That is just so not going to happen. 😉
