What’s in the Works

So 2015 appears to be off to a busy start for me, with more projects on the go than I can keep track of…again. I must admit, however, that I kinda like my life that way. In fact, I tend not to handle “spare” time well, lol, and I have a habit of filling it up whenever I find I have some of it on my hands. I also have a habit of overestimating my ability to squeeze things into my schedule…though I suspect I’m not alone in that, amIright? (Hands up if you do it, too. And be honest! 😉 )

Anyway, my complete inability to manage my time aside, here’s what’s on my “coming soon” list at the moment:

1. Forever Grace, the spin-off novel that takes place after Gwynneth Ever After, is about 2/3 drafted. While the book is taking longer than anticipated (turns out I am not the kind of writer who can turn out a book in 3 months…oops) and probably won’t be up for purchase until the spring, I’ve started posting it as a serial (a chapter a week) on Wattpad. Making a story available before it’s complete is a whole new experience for me, but the commitment I’ve made to readers is helping keep me motivated and on track…and I’m only hyperventilating a little. 😉

2. Forever After, my first-ever novella and Gwynneth Ever After‘s epilogue, is also underway. I’m 6k words in and anticipate a finished product of about 15-20k words. This will be available via Kindle, Kobo, Nook, and iBook, and should crosses fingers be ready in time for Valentine’s Day.

3. If you’re an author, keep an eye out here for my Social Media Monday series to continue. (See the big red space in the sidebar? You can sign up there to be notified about new posts!). I’m working on several ideas right now, starting with one about the latest Facebook changes and why I’m not joining the exodus to give up my author page. I should have the article up for you next week crosses fingers on other hand, begins typing gibberish, uncrosses all fingers. In the meantime, if you have any other social media topics/questions you’d like to see addressed, please leave me a comment or drop me an email via my contact page.

4. Also coming up on the blog, the Warm Up Your Winter Giveaway. It’s a little something I’m putting together to help chase away those January blues, and it will be open internationally (yay!). Watch for details here on Friday! (One more reason you should be subscribed to my blog…big red box in the sidebar…just sayin’). 😉

5. Last, but not least, I have something extra, EXTRA special planned for my newsletter subscribers coming up next month. It’s super awesome, so trust me on this, you want to be signed up. Seriously. 😉

And that’s it for the moment, apart from the usual crochet, walking of Giant Dog (despite our freezing temperatures), and various other fun ways I keep myself sidetracked (DIY hand lotion or suet cakes for the birds, anyone?). Told you I like to keep busy. 😉

Not so much news as something special just for my subscribers. 🙂
