What’s New in the Grigori World

So I have a few things to report, and rather than create a deluge of posts for my Facebook and Twitter followers, I thought a quick blog post was the better route.

First up, I have picked up the DVD for my first-ever television interview on a local cable show here in Ottawa (Roger’s Daytime) and, after having viewed it (in private, behind closed doors!!!), I’ve decided it’s not nearly as bad as I had imagined. So…as soon as hubby has a chance to upload my clip to the Internet, I’ll post a link for you here. 🙂

Second, for any of you living in or near Toronto, I have just booked my train ticket for my June 23rd signing at The World’s Biggest Bookstore! I’ll be there from noon (ish) until 3:00 (ish) and I would love, love, love to meet you if you can make it down to see me. 🙂

Third, I’m doing a guest blog at Moonlight Gleam this Friday (the 11th) that is a wicked cool twist on a character interview (in my humble opinion! ;)). Blog owner Lucy loves it and is sure readers will, too…so I hope you’ll stop by to check it out!

Fourth, a couple of great new reviews from bloggers! Bastard Books has reviewed Sins of the Angels and says that the book has “one of the creepiest murder scenes I’ve ever seen.” In a Facebook comment to me, he added that he’s never looked at a church the same way again. (Am I very perverse if remarks like this make me smile? ;)) And Twimom227 says that Sins of the Son “lends itself well to a book club [and] will spawn much discussion beyond religious beliefs and views.” Again, this makes me a very happy author! 🙂

And last, but not least, another Ottawa signing this weekend– if you happen to live in my area, I’ll be at the Kanata Chapters from 1-3 p.m. and I’ll be giving away a flower for Mom with every book purchase. Again, I’d love to meet you, so please stop by to say hello. 🙂
