After an eventful two weeks of sightseeing, road trips, and other fun activities, our Scottish guest has left…
And now the real fun begins.
I’m currently two weeks behind on Sins of the Warrior, but if I can get it out to my beta readers by the end of the week, I can still make my September launch. Call me deluded, but as long as life behaves itself for the next five days, I think I can pull it off.
Of course, I also have to empty out my office this week so we can return the room to its original master bedroom state. We’re having a new mattress delivered next weekend, and it makes sense to swap things around now (with an eye to putting the house on the market next year) so that we don’t have to haul a king-sized mattress up the stairs ourselves. Have I mentioned before that I’m not getting any younger? Turns out hubby isn’t, either. 😉
Once the basement bedroom is cleared out, we need to have the carpet cleaned and re-stretched so I can move my office down there–preferably before I head off to Limestone Genre Expo in Kingston on July 25th, because I have something special coming up on the 27th that kinda requires having an office…but more about that next week. 😀
We also have to take my youngest up to Montreal to check out a school this week.
And my garden needs weeding.
And I have an announcement I need to make about Sins of the Lost.
And a cover reveal for Sins of the Warrior.
But I’ve totally got this, I swear…
I am Super Writer, hear me roar…? 😀
