The Final Stretch:14 days out

Two weeks til deadline for Sins of the Lost

Which explains why I’ve been somewhat absent from the blog lately, right? Well, that and having had the flu. First time in more than a year that I’ve been sick and it had to be in the middle of revisions on the first draft. I did try to continue working for the first couple of days, but it seemed wiser to set the manuscript aside. Especially when I was on sinus medication that made me less than coherent…

But I’m over it now and back to work, and I’ve even reached a point where I think this story might come together after all.

If I can decipher all those notes I made to myself.

Turns out that “Fix this!” isn’t very helpful without some kind of hint as to what I thought the problem was. Who knew?

In other news, the first day of spring is coming up in a couple of days. It looks like we’ll be celebrating with approximately 30 cm (12 inches) of new snow. Woo hoo. (Did you catch the sarcasm there? Because it was there. sigh) I don’t know about the rest of you, but I am so ready to see the end of winter.

And now, back to work. Have a fabulous week, everyone!

(Oh, and in case you haven’t noticed, there’s a new button on the right hand side for something called “Authorgraph” — if you have my books in digital format and would like them signed, click on it to make a request!)
