The Final Stretch: 13 days out

13 days til deadline on Sins of the Lost and I’m beginning to feel like The Little Writer Who Could.

Why? Because every time I look at the number of pages remaining (and the copious revision notes I’ve made), those famous storybook lines run through my head: I think I can, I think I can, I think I can…

As corny as it sounds, however, the positive outlook is working. Yesterday I motored through 92 pages…woot! 🙂 To be perfectly honest, it was supposed to be 100, but I took a break to walk the dog and then couldn’t get myself back on track.

Next time the dog can wait. 😉

well done, keep going. I often think writing the first draft is the easy part, editing, proof reading, publicity are the tough parts. The very best of success on the novel.

Thank you so much, Olive! And I agree, this part is definitely not easy! 😉
