In the news this month: “Strong women aren’t invincible; we feel deeply, falter, and rise again. There’s fierce power in vulnerability, which means we’re honest about our struggles and brave enough to keep going anyway. In A Web of Obsidian, I wanted to show that strength and softness coexist and that a woman can simultaneously be fierce, flawed, and powerful. Strength isn’t the absence of pain, it’s the courage to stand in it and still choose to fight.”

I love this series. There was a time I thought of becoming a nun. Now had I thought being a nun I could kick ass and drop the F bomb copious times, have crazy adventures with an unlikely group of people including a detective I would have signed up. Since reading the series I have gone from a quiet 60 something women to an outspoken 60 something F bomb droping woman. Reading this series will definetly bring out the sassy baddass in you.
