I really, really, really have to figure out how to put together a newsletter one of these days. Really.
In the meantime, however, here’s a little of what’s going on in my world these days:
- My book signing last Saturday surpassed my wildest expectations (well, maybe not my wildest, lol, but it was still awesome!) and resulted in Sins of the Angels being the bestselling book for the entire week in the Carlingwood Coles bookstore. The assistant manager messaged me last night to give me the news, adding that I had outsold J.K. Rowling, the new Kate Morton, and Neil Young. I’m pretty sure I haven’t stopped smiling since…not even while I was sleeping!
- In conference news, I’m heading to the World Fantasy Con in Toronto next week and I am so excited! I’ll be moderating a panel onย Defining Urban Fantasy, which isย a topic close to my heart, so I can’t wait to hear what my panelists have to say. I’m sure there will be many and varied opinions on the subject!

To state the obvious, Halloween is coming up! We tend to go a little crazy for the occasion in my house, decorating the entire yard and carving a huge number of pumpkins (18 planned this year), so expect photos next week. ๐

On the topic of Halloween, I’ll be doing a haunted house guest post next Monday at Parajunkee…true story, so drop by to check it out. And on the day itself, I’ll be at Romance Junkies for an interview — with pics and a giveaway.
Apart from that, I’m working hard on book 3, Sins of the Righteous, and hoping the rain will hold off this weekend so I can clean out my garden (and hubby can clean out the garage!). What about you? Any outrageous Halloween parties going on? ๐
Have a good one, all!
Linda
P.S. Also, a reminder that I’ve started a new blog at Woodland Rambles to chronicle my walks with Dog…in words and pics. I’d love to have you check it out. ๐
