I posted this pic to my Facebook page this morning, but then I decided it needed a more enduring place to reside…in part because any rose growing in Ottawa in November is worthy of such honour, but mostly so I can return to it in the midst of our frozen January and remind myself that summer really did exist… 😉

Oh how pretty! I’ve had buds on bushes as late as Christmas here! They usually don’t open, though, when they show up that late.

This is the latest we’ve ever had…not sure it will have a chance to open up, as we’re expecting snow this weekend. But yes, it’s a lovely thing to find. 🙂
